The Production Floor Manager works under the direct supervision of the Production Manager. They are responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all of the manufacturing processes. Production Floor Managers monitor the production of goods, the effectiveness of services, ensure items are being produced efficiently at the highest quality, the lowest cost, and provide administrative support to the production staff.

Duties
- Reports to the Production Manager
- Assists the Production Manager with administrative tasks like production schedules and timesheets.
- Appoints labor and keeps up with raw materials to keep the production process running smoothly.
- Oversees quality control throughout the entire production process.
- Procuring and monitoring the efficiency of production equipment.
- Ensures that production is completed before deadlines.
- Updating the Production Manager on the status of projects.
- Listing and coordinating production with other departments.
- Discover creative and efficient ways to lower cost, lower waste, and increase profitability
Requirements:
- High school or equivalent preferred.
- Manufacturing management experience, 1 yr preferred.
- Lean manufacturing experience.
- Ability to supervise production teams confidently and proactively.
- Exceptional analytical ability toward solving production-related concerns.
- Proficiency in quality control, managing budgets, and production costing.
- Ability to work independently under the Production Manager, and as part of a production team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills toward managing human resources and working with other departments
- Availability to work extended hours to meet deadlines when necessary
- Being able to multi-task and multi-direct
- Able to oversee hundreds of personnel and multiple departments.

Shift Expectations:
- 10 hour shifts (minimum of 50 – 60 hours a week)
- Weekend Availability
Proposed Salary and Benefits:
- $45,000 to $50,000 Salary (based on experience)
